Should I talk during a massage?

The important thing to remember is that this treatment is all about you being able to relax and enjoy. If talking does that for you, then by all means talk.  If you prefer to let yourself float into a blissful massage fog, you don’t have to worry about me. I don’t expect you to entertain me! I am busy assessing, planning and implementing my ideas whether you are chatting me up or snoring.

Many times, people feel more relaxed with a little conversation and then as the massage progresses they enter a quiet state of relaxation. Or they snore. Either way, I’m doing my job and loving it!

That said, there are certain times when you should speak up. If I am doing anything that is uncomfortable, I want to know immediately. My feelings will not be hurt.  Also, let me know if you get too warm or cold, if the lighting is too bright, if the music annoys you, if you need a tissue or if the pressure needs to be adjusted, etc.  The differences in client preference keep things interesting and new for me.  So talk. Or zone out. Or snore.  Either way it’s music to my ears.
