The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible. It also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga encourages emotional stability and clarity of mind. 

Our classes are Hatha Yoga: From "ha" (sun) and "tha" (moon), hatha yoga seeks to unify opposites - body and mind become balanced. Naturally. We welcome beginners and those who have practiced before but may feel lost in a large class. Our private/semi-private class ensure that each student will receive the individual attention that they need. You aren't just another yogi in the crowd at Natural Balance. 

Our class structure: We will focus on learning poses that strengthen upper and lower body, as well as the core. We will hold still on some poses and stretch on others, always paying attention to our breath in a slow precise way. Specific breathing techniques may also be used. The last pose in class is always Shavasana which is when the body is put in a resting neutral position for the purpose of restoration. You will feel less stressed and more relaxed after a yoga, much like a good massage!
